The present invention relates to a system and a method for charging an electric vehicle. The system for charging an electric vehicle, which includes a charger, a charging server, and a user terminal on which a charging application provided by the charging server is installed and which is carried by a user, comprises: the user terminal which transmits charging request information to the charging server based on Bluetooth communication with the charger using the charging application; the charger which communicates with the user terminal using Bluetooth technology and charges the electric vehicle under the control of the charging server; and the charging server which receives the charging request information and controls the progress of the electric vehicle charging at the charger based on the received charging request information. Therefore, the system for charging an electric vehicle can reduce battery consumption of the user terminal.

    본 발명은 전기차 충전 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 전기차 충전 시스템은, 충전기, 충전 서버 및 상기 충전 서버로부터 제공된 충전 어플리케이션이 설치되며 사용자가 휴대하는 사용자 단말을 포함하는 전기차 충전 시스템에 있어서, 상기 충전기와의 블루투스(bluetooth) 통신을 기초로 상기 충전 어플리케이션을 이용하여 상기 충전 서버에 충전 요청 정보를 전송하는 사용자 단말, 상기 사용자 단말과 블루투스 기술을 이용하여 통신하고, 상기 충전 서버의 제어에 따라 전기차를 충전하는 충전기 및 상기 충전 요청 정보를 수신하고, 상기 수신된 충전 요청 정보에 기초하여 상기 충전기의 전기차 충전 진행을 제어하는 충전 서버를 포함할 수 있다.
