Disclosed are a system and method for detecting abnormality of crane equipment using artificial intelligence (AI). According to the present invention, as a system for detecting abnormalities in crane equipment that generates vibration signals according to operation, a system for detecting abnormality of crane equipment using AI may comprise: a sensor for detecting the vibration signal; and a computing device which learns pre-input normal vibration data and abnormal vibration data, and detects an abnormal state of the crane equipment based on the learned result value and the vibration signal.
