본 발명의 디스플레이 장치용 윈도우 커버의 제조 방법은 윈도우 커버를 사출 압축 성형에 의해 제조하되, 압축 인자를 조절하여 리타데이션 값이 저감된 윈도우 커버를 제조할 수 있다. 본 발명의 제조 방법으로 제조된 윈도우 커버의 평면측 리타데이션 값은 50nm 이하이고, 45°측의 리타데이션 값은 270nm 이하이다. 본 발명은 윈도우 커버의 제조시 압축 속도를 조절함으로써 리타데이션을 저감시킬 수 있다.
