본 발명은 모형선에 부착된 방향타에 대한 타각 별 침식 시험을 수행하고, 방향타의 캐비테이션 침식 영역이 더욱 두드러지도록 영상을 보정하여 침식 영역을 검출하며, 이를 토대로 침식 영역의 실제 면적을 정량적으로 평가할 수 있도록 하는 영상처리기법을 이용한 모형 방향타 캐비테이션 침식의 정량적 평가 방법에 관한 것이다.
