According to the present invention, a braking control system using a motor may comprise: a pedal sensor detecting operating pressure of a brake pedal or an operating position; a braking motor to apply braking pressure to a braking device of a vehicle; a motor sensor to detect a rotational position of the braking motor; a pressure detection sensor to measure braking pressure of the braking device; and a braking control unit determining braking pressure to be applied to the braking device of a vehicle from the operating pressure or the operating position, operating the braking motor until braking pressure measured in the braking device becomes the determined braking pressure, and determining whether there is an abnormality from a rotational position of the braking motor and the measured braking pressure.
