The present invention allows a driver to easily and conveniently identify work for connection between a hosting hook and an refloating object by being installed on a hoisting block of a tower crane, and prevents accidents by supplying sufficient light for work for the combination and separation of the object by lightening the hoisting hook during night work. According to the present invention, a safety device for a tower crane includes the hoisting block and hoisting hook, elevated depending winding and unwinding movements of a hoisting rope of the tower crane; an image photographing part placed and fixed in the left side of the hoisting block and transmitting an image signal to a driver room of the crane by being turned on and off according to a control signal delivered from the outside; a lighting lamp installed in the right side of the hoisting block to perform a lighting function depending on the application of power; and a power generator which is installed in the right side of the hoisting block, includes a drive shaft which rotates with frictional force by coming in contact with the hoisting rope, when the hoisting rope is wound and unwound upward and downward, and supplies power, generated from the rotation of the drive shaft, to the image photographing part and the light lamp.
