The present invention relates to a method to control the slow charging of an eco-friendly vehicle and, more specifically, to a method to control the slow charging of an eco-friendly vehicle, capable of solving a problem about the operation of a slow charger and a low voltage DC-DC converter in an inefficient area. To achieve the purpose, the method includes: a step of inputting a slow charging mode, selected by a driver, through a mode input unit; a constant current charging step of controlling the slow charger to constantly output the maximum efficiency charging current by using a current, corresponding to the maximum efficiency point of the slow charger in the vehicle, as a charging current when an optimal efficiency charging mode is inputted among slow charging modes; and a constant voltage charging step of controlling the slow charger to reduce the charging current while maintaining a voltage of a main battery when the voltage of the battery rises and reaches a fixed constant voltage setting charging voltage 1 during the constant current charging.

    본 발명은 친환경 자동차의 완속 충전 제어 방법에 관한 것으로서, 충전시 완속충전기와 저전압 DC-DC 컨버터가 비효율적인 영역에서 작동하는 문제점을 개선할 수 있는 친환경 자동차의 완속 충전 제어 방법을 제공하는데 주된 목적이 있는 것이다. 상기한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 모드 입력 수단을 통해 운전자에 의해 선택된 완속 충전 모드가 입력되는 단계; 완속 충전 모드 중 최적 효율 충전 모드가 입력된 경우, 차량 내 완속충전기의 최대 효율점에 해당하는 전류를 충전전류로 하여 최대 효율 충전전류를 일정하게 출력하도록 완속충전기가 제어되는 정전류 충전 단계; 및 정전류 충전 동안 메인 배터리의 전압이 상승하여 정해진 정전압 설정 충전전압 1에 도달하면, 메인 배터리의 전압을 유지하면서 충전전류를 감소시키도록 완속충전기를 제어하는 정전압 충전 단계를 포함하는 친환경자동차의 완속 충전 제어 방법이 개시된다.
