An apparatus and a method for opening and closing an active air flap are provided. The apparatus for opening and closing an active air flap, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a receiving part which receives information on a throttle position sensor (TPS) of a vehicle; a control part which generates a first control signal for opening and closing an air flap for a vehicle in case the opening degree of the TPS included in the information of the TPS is not identical to the opening degree of the air flap for a vehicle to reduce the difference between the opening degree of the TPS and the opening degree of the air flap for a vehicle; and a drive part which opens and closes the air flap for a vehicle according to the first control signal. Therefore, the present invention minutely controls the opening and closing of the air flap and improves fuel efficiency.

    액티브 에어 플랩의 개폐 장치 및 방법이 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 액티브 에어 플랩의 개폐 장치는, 차량의 TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) 정보를 수신하는 수신부; 상기 TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) 정보에 포함된 스로틀 밸브의 개도량과 상기 차량용 에어 플랩의 개방량이 일치하지 않는 경우에 상기 개도량과 상기 개방량의 차이가 감소하도록 상기 차량용 에어 플랩을 개폐하기 위한 제1 제어 신호를 생성하는 제어부; 및 상기 제1 제어 신호에 따라 상기 차량용 에어 플랩을 개폐하는 구동부를 포함한다.
