Disclosed is a frictional resistance reduction device. The frictional resistance reduction device according to an embodiment of the present invention is the frictional resistance reduction device reducing frictional resistance by forming an air layer on the bottom surface of a hull, and comprises: an air discharge portion for discharging air to the bottom surface of the hull; and an eddy flow generating portion for generating an eddy flow providing force to air moving backward by being discharged from the air discharge portion wherein an occupancy rate of the air layer is increased in the direction of the force with respect to the bottom surface of the hull.
