Disclosed are a knee bolster panel structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of the knee bolster panel structure according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps: preparing a knee bolster panel unit using a material containing continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFT); preparing a crash pad lower panel unit to which the knee bolster panel unit is coupled; and combining the knee bolster panel unit and the crash pad lower panel unit through ultrasonic fusion. The knee bolster panel structure according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: the crash pad lower panel unit which is injection molded; and a knee bolster panel unit which is formed by heat-pressing using a material containing continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFT), and is combined to the crash pad lower panel unit through ultrasonic fusion.
니볼스터 패널 구조물 및 그 제조방법에 관하여 개시한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 니볼스터 패널 구조물 제조방법은, CFT(Continuous Fiber reinforced Thermoplastic) 포함하는 소재로 니볼스터 패널부를 마련하는 단계와, 상기 니볼스터 패널부가 결합되는 크래쉬패드 로워 패널부를 마련하는 단계와, 상기 니볼스터 패널부와 상기 크래쉬패드 로워 패널부를 초음파 융착으로 결합시키는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 니볼스터 패널 구조물은, 사출 성형된 크래쉬패드 로워 패널부와, CFT(Continuous Fiber reinforced Thermoplastic) 포함하는 소재를 이용하여 열 프레스로 성형되며, 상기 크래쉬패드 로워 패널부에 초음파 융착으로 결합되는 니볼스터 패널부를 포함한다.
