The present invention relates to a charging system without a power factor correction circuit, which can be directly connected to a single-phase system without an additional filter. The charging system comprises: a rectifying circuit for rectifying grid power; a converter for receiving a rectified voltage-current and converting the same into a charging voltage-current to be provided for a battery; and a capacitor having both ends connected to a gap between the rectifying circuit and the converter.
