The present invention relates to a system for variably controlling a regeneration level of braking energy according to a road grade and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, the system for variably controlling a regeneration level of braking energy is configured such that when a vehicle enters a downhill or an uphill while coasting on a level ground at deceleration predetermined according to a regeneration level that a driver sets manually using a paddle shift, and there is a difference in deceleration due to a road grade, the system is configured to variably control the regeneration level by reflecting a compensation torque according to the difference in deceleration. The system comprises: an operation condition determining unit; a slope load-based FF control unit; a deceleration-based FB control unit; and a coasting torque reflecting unit. In addition, the control method of variably controlling a regeneration level of braking energy comprises: an operation condition determining step; a slope load-based FF control value output step; a deceleration-based FB control value output step; and a coasting torque reflecting step.
본 발명은 도로구배에 따라 제동에너지 회생단계를 가변하는 제어시스템 및 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 제동에너지 회생단계 가변 제어시스템은 운전자가 패들 시프트로 수동 설정한 회생단계에 따라 정해진 감속도로 평지에서 타력주행 중 강판로나 등판로 진입으로 도로구배에 따른 감속도 차이가 발생하면, 상기 감속도 차이에 따른 보상토크를 반영하여 회생단계를 가변 제어하는 시스템으로서, 상기 시스템은 동작조건 판단부, 경사부하 기반 FF 제어부, 감속도 기반 FB 제어부, 및 코스팅 토크 반영부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 또한, 본 발명에 따른 제동에너지 회생단계 가변 제어방법은 동작조건 판단 단계, 경사부하 기반 FF 제어값 출력 단계, 감속도 기반 FB 제어값 출력 단계, 및 코스팅 토크 반영 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
