An embodiment of the present invention provides an electric motor propulsion system for a small ship, which is a motor driving system including a permanent magnet synchronous motor (30, pmsm) providing propulsion power to a small ship. The present invention includes: a detachable battery unit (10) charging power supplied from the outside and providing the power to the pmsm (30); inverters (20, 560) converting direct current power supplied from a battery to alternating current power; a pmsm (30) providing rotational power to a propeller of the ship; and a motor control unit controlling drive, a rotational direction, and a rotational speed of the pmsm (30) without a stimulation position sensor, wherein the detachable battery unit (10) is reused after being charged in a charging system (50) at a place where the small ship is anchored.

    본 발명의 실시 예에서는, 소형선박에 추진동력을 제공하는 영구자석형동기모터(30)(pmsm, permanent magnet synchronous motor)를 포함하여 구비되는 모터구동시스템에 있어서, 외부로부터 공급되는 전원을 충전하여 상기 영구자석형동기모터(30)에 전원을 제공하는 착탈식 배터리부(10);와 상기 배터리에서 공급되는 직류전원을 교류전원으로 변환시키는 인버터(20, 560);와 선박의 프로펠러에 회전동력을 제공하는 영구자석형동기모터(30);와 상기 영구자석형동기모터(30)의 구동, 회전방향 및 회전속도를 자극의 위치검출 센서 없이 제어하는 모터제어부(40);를 포함하여 구성되고, 상기 착탈식 배터리부(10)는 상기 소형선박이 정박하는 곳에서 충전시스템(50)에서 충전후 재사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 소형선박용 전기모터추진시스템의 구성을 제공한다.
