Disclosed is a method for preventing drowsy driving considering a degree of alertness of a driver. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for preventing drowsy driving comprises the following steps of: determining an alertness level of the driver based on monitoring information of at least one monitoring unit provided in a vehicle; determining stimulation corresponding to at least one of a plurality of stimulation units based on the determined alertness level; and operating at least one stimulation unit corresponding to stimulation. Moreover, stimulation to be transmitted to the driver is determined with a machine learning or a deep learning method by using an artificial neural network trained to output stimulation suitable for improving an alertness level of the driver in accordance with identity and a condition of the driver. According to the present invention, the optimum stimulation according to the identity and the condition of the driver can be transmitted to the driver, thereby improving an effect of preventing drowsy driving.

    운전자의 각성도의 정도를 고려하여, 졸음 운전을 방지하기 위한 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 졸음 운전을 방지하기 위한 방법은, 차량에 구비된 적어도 하나의 모니터링 유닛으로부터의 모니터링 정보에 기초하여, 운전자의 각성 레벨을 결정하는 단계; 결정된 각성 레벨에 기초하여, 복수의 자극 유닛 중 적어도 하나에 대응하는 자극을 결정하는 단계; 및 자극에 대응하는 적어도 하나의 자극 유닛을 동작시키는 단계를 포함한다. 운전자에게 전달될 자극은, 운전자의 신원 및 상태에 따라 운전자의 각성도를 향상시키기에 적합한 자극을 출력하도록 훈련된 인공신경망을 이용하여, 머신 러닝 또는 딥 러닝 방식으로 결정된다. 본 발명에 의하면, 운전자의 신원 및 운전자의 상태에 따른 최적의 자극을 운전자에게 전달할 수 있어, 졸음 운전 방지 효과를 향상시킬 수 있다.
