The present invention relates to a skin material for automobile interior materials and a method for manufacturing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a skin material for automotive interior materials, which is a thin film while satisfying mechanical properties required for a conventional skin material for automobile interior materials, and to a method for manufacturing the same. The skin material for interior materials contains a thermoplastic polyurethane resin, has a thickness of 0.5-0.9 mm, and has 300-800% of elongation at break (ISO 5207-3).
