The present invention relates to an active air flap control method for a vehicle, which comprises: an input step of allowing a controller to receive an input of the amount of individual cooling demands required by a plurality of cooling-required devices mounted on an engine room; a request duty calculating step of allowing the controller to calculate a requirement duty in accordance with the amount of cooling demands of each of the cooling-required devices; a correction duty calculating step of allowing the controller to calculate a correction duty for each of the cooling-required devices by multiplying the requirement duty for each of the cooling-required devices by an external temperature factor in accordance with an external temperature of a vehicle; a final duty selecting duty of allowing the controller to select a maximum value among correction duties of each of the cooling-required devices as a final duty; and a flap driving step of allowing the controller to adjust the opening degree of an active air flap with the selected final duty. According to the present invention, the optimal cooling performance for various cooling requirements is provided.
