Disclosed are an automatic control device and an automatic control method for a headlight of a vehicle. According to the present invention, the automatic control method for a headlight of a vehicle comprises: a checking step of allowing, when the vehicle is started, a control unit to communicate with an ECU of the vehicle to check if the headlight is turned on or not; a detection step of allowing, when the headlight is turned off, an illuminance sensor to detect the illuminance around the vehicle; and a lighting step of allowing, when a measurement value of the illuminance sensor is smaller than a first reference value, an output unit to output a first message and then, the control unit to transmit a lower lamp ignition signal to the ECU. According to the automatic control device and the automatic control method for a headlight of a vehicle, even if the driver turns off the lever of the headlight by mistake at night, the headlight is automatically turned on, and an upper lamp is automatically turned on under certain circumstances.
차량 전조등 자동제어장치 및 자동제어방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 차량 전조등 자동제어방법은, 차량 시동시 제어부가 차량의 ECU와 통신하여 전조등이 켜졌는지 확인하는 확인단계; 전조등이 꺼져있으면, 조도센서가 차량 주변의 조도를 감지하는 감지단계; 및 조도센서의 측정값이 제1 기준값보다 작으면, 출력부가 제1 메시지를 출력하고 나서 제어부가 ECU에 하향등 점등신호를 송신하는 점등단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 야간에 운전자가 실수로 전조등 레버를 OFF로 조작해놓더라도 자동으로 전조등이 켜지고, 상황에 따라서는 자동으로 상향등이 켜질 수 있도록 이루어지는 차량 전조등 자동제어장치 및 자동제어방법을 제공할 수 있게 된다.
