The present invention provides a pod type ship propulsion apparatus having multiple struts, which includes: a steering module controlling steering of a hull; a pod providing thrust by a propulsion motor formed on a front end and a propeller formed on a back end; and a pair of multiple struts spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance and fixedly coupling the steering module and the pod. Therefore, the pod type ship propulsion apparatus having the multiple struts is implemented in a thin and sharp shape due to a streamlined double strut structure compared to a single strut structure, thereby decreasing propulsion resistance to improve propulsion efficiency while improving coupling strength and durability even when a thickness of the individual struts is decreased. And, the pod type ship propulsion apparatus having the multiple struts configures a rudder plate on the back end of the struts, thereby improving steering performance to reduce propulsion energy.

    본 발명은, 선체 조향을 제어하는 스티어링모듈; 전단에 형성된 추진모터와 후단에 형성된 프로펠러에 의해 추진력을 제공하는 포드; 및 일정거리 이격된 한쌍으로 구성되고, 상기 스티어링모듈과 상기 포드를 고정 결합시키는 다중 스트럿;을 포함하여, 단일 스트럿 구조에 비해, 유선형의 이중 스트럿 구조로 인해 얇고 날렵한 형상으로 구현하여, 개별 스트럿의 두께가 감소하더라도 결합강도와 내구성을 향상시키면서 추진저항을 감소시켜 추진효율을 향상시킬 수 있고, 스트럿의 후단에 키판을 구성하여 조향성능을 향상시켜 추진에너지를 저감시킬 수 있는, 다중 스트럿을 구비한 포드형 선박추진장치를 제공한다.
