Disclosed is an apparatus for tracking carbon sinks and carbon sources. According to the present invention, the apparatus for tracking carbon sinks and carbon sources, which tracks carbon sinks and carbon sources in a subject area by using near-infrared images and visible ray images, comprises: a near-infrared image acquisition unit which acquires near-infrared images and a near-infrared reflection level of the subject area; a visible ray image acquisition unit which acquires visible ray images, a green light reflection level, and a red light reflection level of the subject area; a normal distribution vegetation index (NDVI) calculation unit which calculates an NDVI by using the near-infrared reflection level and the red light reflection level; and a carbon sink and carbon source tracking unit which distinguishes vegetation from artificial articles in the near-infrared images and the visible ray images by using the NDVI, and classifies the vegetation and the artificial articles as one of the plurality of carbon sinks and carbon sources by using the near-infrared reflection level, the green light reflection level, and the red light reflection level. The present invention aims to provide an apparatus and a method for tracking carbon sinks and carbon sources, which are able to effectively track carbon sinks and carbon sources in a local area.

    탄소 흡배출원 추적 장치가 개시된다. 탄소 흡배출원 추적 장치는, 근적외선 영상 및 가시광선 영상을 이용하여 대상 영역의 탄소 흡배출원을 추적하는 장치에 있어서, 대상 영역의 근적외선 영상 및 근적외선 반사도를 획득하는 근적외선 영상 획득부, 대상 영역의 가시광선 영상 및 녹색광 반사도와 적색광 반사도를 획득하는 가시광선 영상 획득부, 근적외선 반사도 및 적색광 반사도를 이용하여 정규화식생지수(NDVI)를 산출하는 정규화식생지수 산출부 및 정규화식생지수를 이용하여 근적외선 영상 및 가시광선 영상에서 식생과 인공물을 구분하고, 근적외선 반사도, 녹색광 반사도 및 적색광 반사도를 이용하여 식생 및 인공물을 각각 복수의 탄소 흡배출원 중 어느 하나로 분류하는 탄소 흡배출원 추적부를 포함한다.
