The present invention relates to a system for extinguishing fire on a ship and a method for extinguishing fire on a ship using the same. The system for extinguishing fire on a ship directly injects high-pressure water from a remote high position to a fire site of a ship through one or more remote water injection jet monitors installed above a wheel house and a funnel of a large container ship, so that regardless of the position, height, or interference of loads, the system can effectively and rapidly extinguish fire on the ship. The present invention includes a ballast pump.

    본 발명은 대형 컨테이너 선박의 휠하우스(wheel house)와 퍼널(funnel) 상부에 설치되는 하나 이상의 원거리 물 분사 제트 모니터를 통해 선박의 화재발생 위치까지 고압의 물을 원거리의 높은 위치에서 직접 분사함으로써, 화재발생 위치, 높이, 적재물의 간섭 등에 관계없이 화재를 효과적이고 신속하게 진압할 수 있도록 하는 선박 화재 진압 시스템 및 이를 활용한 화재 진압 방법에 관한 것이다.
