The present invention relates to a vehicle control system using biometrics and a method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to the passenger vehicle control system using the biometrics, in which not only a driver but also a passenger in a vehicle can temporarily control vehicle functions using their own biometric information, and the method thereof. The vehicle control system using the biometrics of the present invention comprises: a vehicle control target unit; a biometric information acquisition unit; and a vehicle control module.
