According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method for predicting a battery lifetime. The method for predicting a battery lifetime comprises: a battery charging evaluation module measuring a charging coefficient of a battery for a vehicle according to a test temperature and a state of charging of the battery for the vehicle when controlling full charge until a lifetime of the battery for the vehicle ends; a charging coefficient calculation unit calculating a charging coefficient of a real vehicle battery, which is actually mounted to a vehicle, when controlling full charge; and a lifetime prediction unit predicting the end of a lifetime of the real vehicle battery or the lifetime based on the charging coefficient of the real vehicle battery and the charging coefficient of the battery for the vehicle.

    본 발명의 실시예에 따른 배터리의 수명 예측 시스템을 제공한다. 배터리의 수명 예측 시스템은 차량용 배터리의 실험 온도 및 만충전 제어시의 충전 상태(SOC)에 따른 상기 차량용 배터리의 충전 계수를 상기 차량용 배터리의 수명 종료 시까지 측정하는 배터리 충전 평가 모듈, 차량에 실제로 장착된 실차 배터리의 만충전 제어 시의 충전 계수를 계산하는 충전 계수 산출부 및 상기 실차 배터리의 충전 계수 및 상기 차량용 배터리의 충전 계수에 기초하여 상기 실차 배터리의 수명 종료 또는 수명을 예측하는 수명 예측부를 포함한다.
