The present disclosure describes systems and methods used for developing and verifying performance of an autonomous driving vehicle capable of tracking objects by sensors. The present specification describes a platform and a method for self-propelled autonomous driving for transporting a pedestrian, a bicycle rider, or a vehicle type target in a predetermined pattern during one or more tests. The platform for the self-propelled autonomous driving comprises a sensor configured to be stored inside a platform housing of the platform for the self-propelled autonomous driving during operation when the test is performed.
