Disclosed are a device and method for measuring insulation resistance of a vehicle equipped with a high voltage system including a battery and a plurality of high voltage electrical components operating by receiving power stored in the battery. The device for measuring insulation resistance of a vehicle includes a controller which calculates stray capacitance based on a high-voltage electric component electrically connected to the battery, and determines a measurement period for measuring the insulation resistance of the vehicle based on the calculated stray capacitance.

    배터리와 상기 배터리에 저장된 전력을 공급 받아 동작하는 복수의 고전압 전기 부품을 포함하는 고전압 시스템을 구비한 차량의 절연 저항 측정 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 상기 차량의 절연 저항 측정 장치는, 상기 배터리에 전기적으로 연결 상태인 고전압 전기 부품에 기반하여 부유용량을 연산하고, 연산된 부유용량을 기반으로 상기 차량의 절연 저항을 측정하는 측정 주기를 결정하는 컨트롤러를 포함한다.
