The present invention relates to a drone-based solar panel failure monitoring apparatus. The drone-based solar panel failure monitoring apparatus comprises: at least one drone that acquires and provides general images and thermal images simultaneously while flying over a region where a plurality of solar panels are installed; and a monitoring device that identifies an overall location of the solar panels and a detailed location of each cell in the thermal images through the general images provided by the drone, and detects and reports broken solar panels or cells on an area-by-area basis. The monitoring device determines and reports the presence of a failure, the type of failure, and the risk of failure based on the form, size, and temperature value of a failure area. According to the present invention, it is possible to monitor the failure status of solar panels distributed over a wide area more efficiently, quickly, and accurately.

    본 발명은 드론 기반 태양광 패널 고장 모니터링 장치에 관한 것으로, 이는 다수의 태양광 패널이 설치된 지역의 상공을 비행하면서, 일반 이미지와 열화상 이미지를 동시에 획득 및 제공하는 적어도 하나의 드론; 및 상기 드론이 제공하는 상기 일반 이미지를 통해서는 상기 열화상 이미지내 태양광 패널의 전체 위치 및 셀별 세부 위치를 식별하고, 상기 열화상 이미지를 통해서는 고장난 태양광 패널 또는 셀을 영역 단위로 검출 및 통보하는 모니터링 장치를 포함하며, 상기 모니터링 장치는 고장 영역의 형태, 크기 및 온도값에 기반하여 고장 여부, 고장 유형 및 고장 위험도를 확인 및 통보하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
