Provided is an electric battery charging system comprising a connector including a thermistor element whose resistance value changes depending on temperature, a controller (MCU, 123) receiving a voltage that varies depending on whether the connector is fastened and receiving a voltage that varies depending on the resistance value of the thermistor element, and a battery management system (VCMS) determining whether to discharge based on whether the connector is fastened and the temperature of the connector. According to the present invention, in the process of utilizing a vehicle to load (V2L) technology, injury to users and damage to property such as vehicles due to overtemperature can be prevented.
