The present invention relates to a device for reducing torsional vibration of a propulsion shaft system of a vessel and a reduction method, which are to reduce torsional vibration applied to a propulsion shaft system when the propulsion shaft system, which is from an engine driving unit to a propeller, rotates by torque generated by an engine. The device for reducing torsional vibration of a propulsion shaft system of a vessel reduces the torsional vibration applied from the engine to the propulsion shaft system by measuring the torsional vibration applied when power is transmitted from the engine to the propulsion shaft system in real time or applying the torsional vibration in an opposite direction to a rotation direction of the propulsion shaft system using data estimated in advance or measured in advance. To achieve the purpose of the present invention, the device for reducing torsional vibration of a propulsion shaft system of a vessel, according to the present invention, includes: the propulsion shaft system which is from the engine driving unit to the propeller; and a motor rotating the propulsion shaft system with electric energy supplied by a service grid in an opposite direction to the rotation direction of the propulsion shaft system by the torque generated by the engine. The reduction method includes: a step of receiving the electric energy by the service grid; and a step of rotating the propulsion shaft system using the electric energy in the opposite direction to the rotation direction of the propulsion shaft system rotating by the torque generated by the engine.

    본 발명은 엔진 구동부에서 프로펠러에 이르는 추진축계가 엔진에서 발생하는 토크에 의해 회전함에 있어 추진축계에 인가되는 비틀림 진동을 감소시키기 위한 선박 추진축계 비틀림 진동 감소장치 및 감소방법에 관한 것으로서, 엔진에서 추진축계로 동력이 전달될 때 인가되는 비틀림 진동을 실시간으로 검측하거나 또는 기 검측 된 또는 사전에 추정 된 데이터를 통해 추진축계 회전방향의 반대방향으로 비틀림 진동을 인가하여 엔진으로부터 추진축계에 인가되는 비틀림 진동을 감소하도록 구성한 것이다. 상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 선박 추진축계 비틀림 진동 감소장치는 엔진 구동부에서 프로펠러에 이르는 추진축계와, 엔진에서 발생하는 토크에 의한 추진축계의 회전방향에 대한 역방향으로 서비스 그리드(service grid)에서 공급되는 전기에너지로 추진축계를 회전시키는 모터를 포함하며, 선박 추진축계 비틀림 진동 감소방법은 서비스 그리드에서 전기에너지를 공급받는 단계와, 엔진에서 발생하는 토크에 의해 회전하는 추진축계의 회전방향에 대한 역방향으로 추진축계를 전기에너지를 통해 회전시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 기술적 특징으로 한다.
