In a communication controller for charging an electric vehicle, which includes a plurality of inlets connected to an electric vehicle power supply device (EVSE), according to an embodiment of the present invention, each of the plurality of inlets comprises: a CP port for detecting a control pilot (CP) signal received from the electric vehicle power supply device; a protect earth (PE) port connected to the protective ground of the electric vehicle power supply device; a PLC node for communicating with the electric vehicle power supply device to control the charging of the electric vehicle; a first switching part arranged between the CP ports of the plurality of inlets to selectively connect one of the CP ports and the PLC node; and a second switching part arranged between the PE ports of the plurality of inlets to selectively connect one on of the PE ports and the PLC node. Therefore, an electric vehicle can be charged freely regardless of the parking direction thereof and the position of an electric vehicle power supply device.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 전기 자동차 전원공급장치(EVSE)와 연결되는 복수의 인렛을 포함하는 전기 자동차 충전용 통신 컨트롤러에 있어서, 상기 복수의 인렛 각각은 상기 전기 자동차 전원공급장치로부터 수신되는 CP(Control Pilot) 신호를 감지하는 CP포트; 및 상기 전기 자동차 전원공급장치의 보호 접지와 연결되는 PE(Protect Earth)포트를 포함하고, 상기 전기 자동차의 충전 제어를 위해 상기 전기 자동차 전원공급장치와 통신하는 PLC노드를 포함하고, 상기 복수의 인렛의 상기 CP포트 사이에 배치되어 상기 CP포트 중 어느 하나와 상기 PLC 노드를 선택적으로 연결시키는 제1스위칭부를 포함하고, 상기 복수의 인렛의 상기 PE포트 사이에 배치되어 상기 PE포트 중 어느 하나와 상기 PLC노드를 선택적으로 연결시키는 제2스위칭부를 포함한다.
