Disclosed is a method for sensing an abnormal behavior of a driver. According to one embodiment of the present specification, a personalized abnormal behavior determining model can be created for each driver and implemented in a mobile application or mounted on a vehicle. According to the present specification, based on properties of collected video data and voice data, normal data indicating a normal drive status of the driver and abnormal data indicating an abnormal drive status are defined as learning data, respectively. Additionally, the personalized abnormal behavior discrimining model is created through machine learning-based learning based on the learning data. Therefore, it can be determined whether the driver is in the normal or abnormal drive status. An apparatus for sensing the abnormal behavior of the driver of the present invention comprises: a video acquiring unit; a voice acquiring unit; a database; a storage unit; and a processor.
