본 발명은 미국 해군 연구소(DTRC)에서 공개한 DARPA Suboff 잠수함을 대상 몰수체로 선정하여 대형 캐비테이션 터널에서 저항 시험을 수행하고, 상기 몰수체에 로터, 스테이터 및 덕트를 포함하여 구성된 복합 추진기를 장착한 다음, 대형 캐비테이션 터널에서 상기 복합 추진기 자체를 추진체로 간주한 자항 시험을 수행하며, 실선 성능을 추정하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 대형 캐비테이션 터널에서의 복합 추진기 장착 몰수체 자항 시험 방법을 제공한다.
