A fuel cell system and a method of controlling the system are introduced, wherein the fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell connected to a main bus end via a converter; an auxiliary power source connected in parallel to the main bus end at an output side of the converter; and a controller controlling the converter to adjust an output of the fuel cell by varying a target input voltage of the converter, wherein the controller increases the target input voltage of the converter when the output voltage of the converter is above a set maximum value and decreases the target input voltage of the converter when the output voltage of the converter is below a set minimum value.

    컨버터를 통해 메인버스단에 연결된 연료전지; 컨버터 출력측에서 메인버스단에 병렬연결된 보조전원; 및 컨버터의 목표입력전압을 가변하여 연료전지의 출력을 조정하도록 컨버터를 제어하며, 컨버터의 출력전압이 설정된 최대값 이상인 경우 컨버터의 목표입력전압을 증대시키고, 컨버터의 출력전압이 설정된 최소값 이하인 경우 컨버터의 목표입력전압을 감소시키는 제어기;를 포함하는 연료전지 시스템 및 그 제어방법이 소개된다.
