Disclosed are a pylon painting system using a painting robot, which prevents accidents such as electric shock and falls of workers, and a method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the pylon painting system comprises: a painting robot spraying paint on a pylon to perform painting; and a control device adjusting the length of a wire connected to the painting robot on the basis of sensing information from the painting robot to move the position of the painting robot and controlling the operation of the painting robot.

    도장로봇을 이용한 철탑 도장 시스템 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 도장로봇을 이용한 철탑 도장 시스템은, 철탑에 도료를 분사하여 도장을 수행하는 도장로봇, 및 상기 도장로봇으로부터의 센싱정보에 기초하여 상기 도장로봇과 연결된 와이어의 길이를 조절하여 상기 도장로봇의 위치를 이동시키고, 상기 도장로봇의 동작을 제어하는 제어장치를 포함한다.
