According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electric propulsion ship is provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electric propulsion ship comprises: a hull; a fuel tank installed in the hull, and storing liquefied natural gas therein; a reformer receiving the liquefied natural gas from the fuel tank to reform the liquefied natural gas to generate reformed gas including hydrogen; a fuel cell receiving the reformed gas from a fuel electrode supply line connected to the reformer, and receiving air from an air electrode supply line to electrochemically react the reformed gas to generate electricity; a propeller motor generating propulsion with electricity generated in the fuel cell; a fuel electrode discharge line extended from the fuel electrode supply line, and discharging fuel electrode discharge gas including carbon dioxide; and a carbon dioxide collecting device spraying an absorbent absorbing carbon dioxide to the fuel electrode discharge gas to remove carbon dioxide from the fuel electrode discharge gas.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 의해 전기 추진 선박이 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 전기 추진 선박은, 선체와, 선체에 설치되며, 내부에 액화천연가스를 저장하는 연료탱크와, 연료탱크로부터 액화천연가스를 공급받아 개질하여 수소를 포함하는 개질가스를 생성하는 개질기와, 개질기에 연결된 연료극공급라인으로부터 개질가스를 공급받고, 공기극공급라인으로부터 공기를 공급받아 개질가스를 전기 화학적으로 반응시켜 전기를 생성하는 연료전지와, 연료전지에서 생성된 전기로 추진력을 생성하는 추진기모터와, 연료극공급라인으로부터 연장되며, 이산화탄소를 포함하는 연료극배출가스가 배출되는 연료극배출라인, 및 연료극배출가스에 이산화탄소를 흡수하는 흡수제를 분사하여 연료극배출가스로부터 이산화탄소를 제거하는 이산화탄소포집장치를 포함할 수 있다.
