The present invention relates to a vehicle charging system capable of automatically charging a vehicle by measuring and correcting the inclination of a power receiving unit, and a method for controlling the vehicle charging system. The vehicle charging system comprises: a power receiving unit formed on one side of a vehicle to receive power from a power transmission unit installed on a charging spot to charge a battery of the vehicle; a sensor unit formed on the power receiving unit to measure the degree of inclination of the power receiving unit; a control unit determining and controlling a chargeable state and a non-chargeable state of the vehicle according to angle data measured by the sensor unit; and an inclination adjustment unit installed on the power receiving unit and adjusting the inclination of the power receiving unit when the control unit determines that the vehicle is in the non-chargeable state.
본 발명은, 수전부의 기울어짐을 측정 및 보정하여 차량을 자동으로 충전 가능하도록 하는 차량 충전 시스템 및 차량 충전 시스템 제어 방법으로서, 차량의 배터리를 충전할 수 있도록, 상기 차량의 일측에 형성되어 충전 스팟에 설치된 송전부로부터 전력을 전달받는 수전부; 상기 수전부에 형성되어, 상기 수전부의 기울어진 정도를 측정하는 센서부; 상기 센서부에서 측정된 각도 데이터에 따라, 상기 차량의 충전 가능 상태 및 충전 불가능 상태를 판단 및 제어하는 제어부; 및 상기 수전부에 설치되고, 상기 제어부로부터 충전 불가능 상태로 판단된 경우, 상기 수전부의 기울기를 조절하는 기울기 조절부; 를 포함할 수 있다.
