A method for controlling a vehicle comprises the steps of: determining the number of driving legs according to an output current target value of a dc converter; selecting a leg to be switched among a plurality of legs as many as the number of the driving legs based on a cumulative operation time for each of the legs included in the dc converter; and controlling an output current value of the dc converter to follow the output current target value by switching at least one selected leg.
