The present technology discloses a system and a method for controlling air quality of a public transportation vehicle. According to a specific example of the present technology, by setting the type and strength of at least one air quality reduction device according to the air quality collected indoors and outdoors of a driving public transportation vehicle and adjusting the strength of the set type of air quality reduction device, it is possible to minimize the energy consumption of at least one air quality reduction device installed in the public transportation vehicle, thereby reducing noise generation and fatigue of vehicles and passengers due to noise generation.

    본 기술은 대중교통 차량의 공기질 제어 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 기술의 구체적인 예에 따르면, 주행 중인 대중교통 차량의 실내 및 실외에서 수집된 공기질에 따라 적어도 하나의 공기질 저감 장치의 유형 및 강도를 설정하고 설정된 유형의 공기질 저감 장치의 강도를 조절함에 따라, 대중교통 차량 내에 설치된 적어도 하나의 공기질 저감 장치의 소비 에너지를 최소로 줄일 수 있고, 이에 따른 소음 발생 및 소음 발생에 따른 차량 및 승객의 피로를 감소할 수 있다.
