The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tread wear limit indicator for a medium-duty tire which can solve abnormal abrasion such as cracks and tread tearing caused by stress concentration at a portion in contact with the inner side surface of a tire groove. The present invention relates to a medium-duty pneumatic tire, which includes a tread portion, a shoulder portion, a sidewall, and a bead portion in the width direction of the tire, wherein a wear limit indicator (30A) formed on a groove bottom surface of the tread portion has a plurality of protruding circular projections (30) in a 4x2 or greater array. The present invention solves the problem of the prior art in that the stress concentration phenomenon is concentrated on the surface where the tread wear limit indicator comes in contact with the tread surface, thereby reducing abnormal abrasion of the tire, such as cracks and tread tearing, thereby improving the lifespan of the tire.
