A method of automatic battery swapping control for a rail transit vehicle is applicable to a rail transit vehicle automatic battery swapping system including a ground battery swapping device and a rail transit vehicle. The method includes: receiving a battery swapping signal, and in response to the battery swapping signal, blocking traction of the rail transit vehicle; communicating the in-vehicle wireless communication device with the ground wireless communication device, to enable battery swapping for the rail transit vehicle; receiving a battery swapping completion notification sent by the battery management system; and disconnecting the in-vehicle wireless communication device from the ground wireless communication device, and lifting the vehicle blockade of the rail transit vehicle.
