The method includes providing a filler including a filler body and a deformable element along each opposing side wall of the filler body. The method includes forming at least one end of opposite ends of the filler body at an oblique angle relative to a longitudinal axis of the filler body. The filler is disposed in a channel of the upper rail. A movable window panel is provided at the upper and lower rails with an upper region of the movable window panel received in the filler. Each of the deformable elements includes a compressible and flexible material and provides a dampening and cushioning function at the movable window panel received in the filler in the channel of the upper rail.
