Some embodiments relate to a device (e.g., an engine management module) that includes a sled coupled to a base, the sled configured to translate along a sled axis. The device further includes a guide plate coupled to the sled, where the first guide plate includes a first channel. The device further includes a lever coupled to a shaft that is fixed to the base. The first lever has a first end and a second end. The first end includes a first guide pin that is positioned within the first channel such that as the sled translates along the sled axis, the first guide pin moves along the first channel to cause the second end of the first lever to rotate about the shaft.
