A surfacing material for use in an automatic tape laying device, comprising a layer of reinforcement material and a conducting surface layer in contact with the reinforcement material, wherein the surface layer extends beyond the surface of the reinforcement material. The surfacing material provides improved surface conductivity perpendicular to the tape direction.

    Un matériau de surfaçage destiné à être utilisé dans un dispositif de positionnement automatique de bande, comprenant une couche de matériau de renforcement et une couche superficielle conductrice en contact avec le matériau de renforcement, dans lequel la couche de surface s'étend au-delà de la surface du matériau de renforcement. Le matériau de surface permet d'obtenir une meilleure conductivité de surface perpendiculaire à la direction de la bande.
