Disclosed are an electronic apparatus for controlling a black box mounted on a vehicle and an operation method thereof. The electronic apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises the steps of: determining an operation mode of a black box as a sleep mode while the ignition of a vehicle is turned off; transmitting a ultra wide band (UWB) signal to an object located around the vehicle by using a UWB communication module; receiving the UWB signal from the object; on the basis of the received UWB signal, identifying whether or not the object is a device of a driver of the vehicle; and on the basis of the result of identification of the object, determining whether or not to switch the operation mode of the black box from the sleep mode to an activation mode.

    L'invention concerne un appareil électronique destiné à commander une boîte noire montée sur un véhicule et son procédé de fonctionnement. L'appareil électronique selon un mode de réalisation de la présente invention comprend les étapes consistant à : déterminer un mode de fonctionnement d'une boîte noire en tant que mode de veille tandis que l'allumage d'un véhicule est éteint ; transmettre un signal à bande ultra-large (UWB) à un objet situé à proximité du véhicule à l'aide d'un module de communication UWB ; recevoir le signal UWB provenant de l'objet ; sur la base du signal UWB reçu, identifier si l'objet est un dispositif d'un conducteur du véhicule ; et sur la base du résultat d'identification de l'objet, déterminer s'il faut ou non changer le mode de fonctionnement de la boîte noire du mode de veille à un mode d'activation.

    차량에 탑재된 블랙박스를 제어하는 전자 장치 및 그 동작 방법을 개시한다. 본 개시의 일 실시예에 따른 전자 장치는 차량의 시동이 오프(off)된 상태에서 블랙박스의 동작 모드를 슬립 모드(sleep mode)로 결정하는 단계, UWB(Ultra Wide Band) 통신 모듈을 이용하여 차량 주변에 위치하는 객체에 UWB 신호를 송신하는 단계, 객체로부터 UWB 신호를 수신하는 단계, 수신된 UWB 신호에 기초하여 객체가 차량의 운전자의 디바이스인지 여부를 식별하는 단계, 객체의 식별 결과에 기초하여 블랙박스의 동작 모드를 슬립 모드에서 활성 모드(activation mode)로 전환할 지 여부를 결정하는 단계를 포함한다.
