The control unit activates the radio based on the activation signal. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) an alarm system comprising a remote transmitter (2) a method for activating an acoustic signal generator of a motor vehicle (3) a computer program product for activating an acoustic signal generator of a motor vehicle. USE - Device for activating an acoustic signal generator of a motor vehicle (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The receiver for receiving the activation signal from the remote transmitter, and the control unit activating acoustic signal generator of the motor vehicle in response to the activation signal, thus providing warning of population around the surrounding of the vehicle in a simple and cost effective manner.
