In the face of our current environmental crisis, the urgency for sustainable transportation solutions is paramount. Hybrid vehicles stand as a beacon of hope in this regard, offering reduced emissions and enhanced fuel efficiency. Advancing this notion further, the integration of fuel cell technology into hybrid systems presents a compelling solution. In this paper, an EMR based model of a Fuel Cell Hybrid Electric Vehicle is developed with a hierarchical control structure. Through local and global controllers, the model is capable of splitting the power between the fuel cell and the battery, maintaining the bus voltage, tracking the reference currents, and ensuring drivability.
