In India, traffic problems are a major concern, especially for people residing in major cities and sub-urban areas where traffic must be monitored and cleared manually by traffic police due to the sheer population of the nation which can lead to people being stuck in traffic for hours on end. Addressing this problem, we have proposed a solution involving density-based traffic management which also includes a stolen vehicle detection system, identifying red light-violating vehicles, stolen vehicle detection, and emergency vehicle detection for free flow of traffic for emergency vehicles using Arduino, GSM module and RFID.
