Penetration of Electric Vehicles will demand a better infrastructure to accommodate the increasing burden of electrical loads on the distribution network. In this paper, a multi charging station has been proposed, which can handle a large fleet of Electric Vehicles without affecting the grid performance. Two levels of control have been designed. The first controller is, at the battery level which controls the charging/discharging (Crate) of the batteries and second one is at the distribution node level which controls the flow of power between the grid and the charging station. Vehicle owner's preferred minimum state of charge (SOC) and maximum allowable Crate is taken into account while delivering power to the Grid. A practical distribution grid has been used to validate the results.
