Collecting-Dispatching system connecting the port and its hinterland requires all the resources collaborated reasonably. Freight forwarders' business in the Collecting-Dispatching system includes booking, scheduling transport mode and carrier, consulting with port operation and so on. In short, freight forwarders are meant to provide “one-stop” service for the owners. Forwarders should make scientific vehicle scheduling plan to meet the system goal. A vehicle schedule model is established aiming at cost reduction. A numerical example solved by genetic algorithm is given to show the model is effective.
