This paper proposes a novel non-isolated dual switch based high gain dc-dc converter. This converter achieves high gain at a low duty cycle which results in low conduction loss and low voltage stress across diodes and switches. Transportation, photovoltaic and medical appliances are few prospective applications of high gain converter. The steady state analysis and passive elements design of this converter are included in this paper. A comparative evaluation of the converter is performed to explore its potential over other counterparts. To verify the theoretical concept, the simulation of proposed converter is performed.
