The civil aviation industry continually seeks advancements in trajectory management to improve efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability. This paper presents a methodological work on enhancing aircraft 4D trajectory management. By focusing on the longitudinal dimension, we aim to develop robust control strategies that integrate seamlessly with existing air traffic management systems. Inner and outer control loops for 4D trajectory management are established, and an innovative energy feedback mechanism is proposed to mitigate trajectory deviations. Through extensive simulations and real-world data analysis, our strategies demonstrate significant improvements in trajectory accuracy. The proposed control strategies not only enhance predictive accuracy, but also facilitate the evaluation of the effectiveness of both inner and outer loops as well as overall trajectory management, providing a foundational framework for future 4D trajectory research.
