Global warming and unpredictable weather patterns have garnered significant attention and anxiety across global forums. The need to mitigate climate change between 1.5℃ (Celsius) to 2℃ and the ways to reverse greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions has been in the making for a decade now with its core structure insisting on carbon neutrality formulated through Conference of Parties (COP26) with accelerated targets across global countries. In terms of Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, India ranks third next to United States; its CO2 emission are about one-fourth of China which leads global CO2 emission [1]. With a very steady Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and increasing industrial output, India has determined itself to meet its climate action obligation through National Determined Contribution (NDC) and sustainable alternatives in the Energy, transport, and other sectors. Transport decarbonization, reduction of non-fossil fuels in energy sector and replacing sustainable alternative across sectors are at key focus, from urban housing to farming supported through cleaner technology, smart innovation, continuous investment with government collaboration and support. With India's huge market potential across sectors driven by strong consumer strength and talents across industrial growth and consistent GDP's, the growth in sectors can only accelerate leading towards largest economy. The Scope of this journal is to analyze India's carbon neutrality commitments leveraged by circular economy across sectors, its targets, and the proposed plan. It will also assess the effectiveness of government standards, policies, and regulations through the author's eyes, and to summarize, interpret, and conclude that as a country, India's stand towards carbon neutrality short-term and long-term goals by 2030 and 2070 respectively.
